Post-doctoral researcher
Sanne is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford, Centre for Migration Policy and Society (COMPAS). Her research covers discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, and gender in politics and society. Before joining Oxford, Sanne completed her PhD in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam in October 2024. Her doctoral research explored the political representation of race, ethnicity, gender and religion, particularly of Muslim politicians in European parliaments.
